Kids can learn to sail at Lagoon Watersports from the age of 6 for RYA courses or age 5 for private 1:1 lessons. The sailing school provides all the specialized equipment and full tuition.
The best value and quickest way of learning how to sail is to combine RYA Stage 1 & 2. This package is run over 5 half days and will give the perfect introduction to sailing, PLUS it saves £79 on separate course rates. It is all about having fun, getting wet, building confidence and learning to sail!
Once children have reached Stage 2 they can practice sailing at our OnBoard kids club, and join our unlimited hire scheme. Further training is available to RYA Stage 3 and 4. Both of these courses are run from Brighton Marina on the sea and on Hove Lagoon.
